LTE International Roaming

Course Objectives:

After successful completion of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the fundamentals of SS7 network, MTP3/M3UA based and GT based routing
  • Implement effective routings in SCCP-GT level in relation to International Roaming
  • Appreciate the different MAP protocols and related interfaces
  • Appreciate ISUP signaling and some call flows
  • Understand GSM/UMTS/LTE Concepts which includes Numbering Plan, Mobile Service Management and Security Management
  • Learn the basics of SIP signaling
  • Understand the requirements of International Roaming, including call flow analysis
  • Understand Roaming Networks, roaming types, network flow, its interconnections, analysis and troubleshooting
  • Learn the essentials of steering of roaming, and local break-out

Pre-Rrequisite for Participants:

A basic knowledge of Mobile Communication and basic SS7 Signaling will be required
