Course Overview:

This 5-day course is designed to teach students the essence of microwave path planning and equip them with the essential knowledge on planning of microwave based access network for Cellular Networks and 4G/5G.

They will develop understanding of migration of transmission network towards all-IP environment.   The students will also learn how to design paths that will not suffer from interference, nor disturb other radio systems in its vicinity.

Completing this course, they will be able to design and maintain a microwave transmission network that can be cost-effectiveness maintained.

Pre-Requisite for Participants:

Basic understanding of telecommunication is needed.

This course is suitable for telecommunications professionals, including transmission engineers, network planners and technical project managers who are involved in the area of planning, deployment, commissioning or operation of modern Radio-relay Digital Microwave Radio.
