Course Overview:

The current Telco architecture is undergoing transformation from one that comprises vertically integrated discrete network elements, to one that is cognitive and cloud-optimized and which offer seamless operation. Such next-generation networks will not be server-centric.  Rather, it would focus on data and content requirements, with data and the applications being decoupled. The new network architecture promises ease of scalability and with security and privacy built-in.  It would allow for energy efficient operation, offer the lowest Operational Expenses (OPEX), and has the propensity to support an extremely wide range of uses in a flexible manner. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has classified 5G mobile network services into three categories: Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), Ultra-reliable and Low-latency Communications (uRLLC), and Massive Machine Type Communications (mMTC).

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed to provide a general overview for strategic or technical managers, consultants, communications professionals, network professionals and others who plan on using, evaluating or working with WCDMA & LTE wireless networks, applications and services.

Target Group:

There are no prerequisite for this tutorial, but prior knowledge of 3G and 4G will be an added advantage for the participants.
