Course Overview |
|
Telecommunications Project Management is a 5-day
course
focusing on the basic concepts and terminologies of Project
Management with a focus on GSM Roll-out Project. The
course
delves deeply into what makes projects successful and
what
causes them to fail, focusing in on the roles and
responsibilities of the Project Managers and Project
Management Team members.
This course also delves into `Management by Projects`,
which
is the common methodologies for operating companies to
run
projects within their corporate operational structure.
Additionally, this course reviews the Project Management
Institute`s "Nine Knowledge Areas" identified in the PMI
Project Management Book of Knowledge ("PMBOK"), as it
applies to telecommunications projects.
This course will include class exercises on Cellular
Roll-Out project, focusing on defining the project scope and
high-level milestones.
