Course Duration
2-day Instructor-led training with case studies
Course Objectives
This course will enable participants to:
- Understand the concept of SIP signaling flow
- Learn the Inter-working of MSC and IVR via SIP
- Explore the possibilities between MSC and PPS (via SIP)
- Find out the approach to achieve Voice Mail via MSC-VMS (thru SIP)
Course Overview
The goal of the SIP over VAS training is to present details and analysis of the Network Switching Subsystem inter-working with SIP protocols. SIP is the future protocol interface for 3G core networks.
Understanding the concepts of inter-working with SIP gives flexibility to achieve different core network supplementary services via SIP interface. The participants will become familiar with SIP signaling inter-working with VAS systems including PPS, IVR and VMS.
Key Benefits
The participants will gain a detailed knowledge of SIP over VAS, its signal flows, the sample signal trace analysis; and its other applications via the SIP interface.
Pre-Requisites for Participants
A basic knowledge of Mobile Communication/ PSTN will be required.
Who Should Attend?
For engineers and managers responsible for the implementation, operations & maintenance and support for VAS.
